this is one of my different pieces, it's more so perspective and speaking of an issue pertaining to today's youth. I find it's more of a relatable piece towards people my age and this time it's directed much more generally. I really enjoyed writing this one because I when the idea initially struck me, my mind was lingering upon many possible topics and I wanted to make sure I hit most of the idea when getting it all down. Upon planning it I thought to myself: "this is going to be messy" but I thought of some smooth transitions and some certain wording to make it as if I had a main topic and I did, I just wanted to direct it to where it would all be able to make sense as a whole. I had written this one in my moleskine before typing it out and I think it was a strategic idea because I was able to really open my mind with the natural flow of simply paper in hand, then edit a few words within document form. Again- this piece is from personal experience, BUT hopefully not too personal. My goal was to get you to the point where it sort of opens your eyes to the youth of today and how you could possibly feel.
